Our Services Afro-British Support Services "IMPACT"recruit impartially professional, experienced and skilled employees and volunteers that can assist and give free advice and guidance to our client communities to overcome barriers the face in:
· getting employment and training
· debt payments and managing money
· getting decent housing and not to be homeless
· using NHS services and in how to be healthy
· getting education for their children and themselves
· using leisure services
· knowing children centers and nurseries near their homes
Afro-British Support Services "IMPACT" also provide advice and guidance to our clients to apply for benefits they are entitled to name a few such as:
· job seekers allowance
· income support
· housing and council tax
· employment support allowance
· disability living allowance
· child tax credit
· child Benefit
· working tax credit
A unique aspect of our organisation is the diverse nationalities of our employees and volunteers. Between them they speak Somali, Swahili, Tigrinya, Amharic, Arabic, French and local African dialects.
